FORT HAMILTON GIN

Fort Hamilton is a distillery in Brooklyn, New York, not far from the namesake fort used by the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Their branding is steeped in the imagery and icons commonly associated with that era and New York City, with a degree of whimsy mixed in to bring it into the modern world.

This work was designed to the blend strong flavor cues of their gin offering with the brand’s existing style. The version on the left features an actionable headline, while the version on the right reiterates the product name to emphasize the “New World” style of gin Fort Hamilton produces. I also wrote a new tagline featured on both options that emphasizes the brand’s revolutionary spirit and New York ties.
